2018 Annual Tour of Gardens
Once again, local gardeners proved that home-grown talent can create many wonderful stories transcribed to gardens.
Those who came to be delighted were treated to views of many various styles of gardens. Our local gardeners demonstrated their talents with lovely vistas, unique garden art and wonderful plant life.
The gardens were viewed by enthusiastic garden-lovers young and old. They were open from 9:30 to 2:30. We provided the map of six gardens to tour at leisure.
There was also a fantastic raffle of plants and garden items—a chance to win dozens of different prizes with little investment, including original paintings, garden themed sweaters, garden art, gift cards from local businesses and a wealth of plants!
We are fortunate to have photographers John Rouse and Sheri Sparks (also members of Lake County Photography Club) record our tours so that we all may enjoy the gardens again, through their professional eyes. We appreciate your work for us.
A great Thank You to all the garden hosts. We also appreciate those toured the gardens.
We are always looking for gardens to consider for the upcoming tours. If you would like your garden to be reviewed or have ideas for any others, please, Contact us about next year’s garden tour!
