2015 Annual Tour of Gardens
Local weatherman foretold of a brutally hot day along with storms, so a number of people were afraid to brave the elements to visit this year’s gardens.
But those who took the chance experienced a glorious day in which to view the many various styles of gardens. Our local gardeners demonstrated their talents with lovely vistas, unique garden art and wonderful plant life.
The gardens were viewed by enthusiastic garden-lovers young and old. They were open from 9:30 to 2:30. We provided the map of six gardens to tour at leisure.
There was also a fantastic raffle of plants and garden items—a chance to win dozens of different prizes with little investment, including original paintings, unique and useful items, garden art, gift cards from local businesses and a wealth of plants!
A great Thank You to all the garden hosts.
This year we were fortunate to have 3 photographers who have donated their photos of the gardens so you can see each individual garden. Thank you Bill Dermody, John Rouse, and LeRoy Shea for their help. Follow them as they guide you through our gardens this year.
